Deal With It
Deal With It formed in the early months of 2006 to carry the torch that had been carried by their previous bands What Hope Remains and 50 On Red. They released a demo in April of that year to much fanfare, before getting into the groove of regular appearances all over the country.
Later that year they recorded an EP 'World Coming Down' on Dead and Gone records. World Coming Down is a short, but effective, burst of hugely aggressive nihilism and contempt, taking a leaf from such bands as Cro Mags, Judge, and No Warning, but creating a sound all of their own which bleeds with malice and negative intentions. This in no way should be confused with the mulitude of bands who adorn themselves with images of brass knuckles and broken bottles, lauding themselves as kings of an incestuous shit pile. Here, instead, is a band that is sick to the teeth of what life has in store for them, gaining what catharsis they can from the music they play.
After 2 years of touring with the likes of Terror, Down to Nothing, Outbreak, Cold World and Blacklisted, as well as a headlining European tour under their belt, to see them live is to see them in their element, with a frontman unafraid to speak his mind, and a near-suicidal urge to throw himself at anyone and anything. And 2008 promises only more good things for this band. Their full-length, 'End Time Prophecies' is scheduled for release in early summer, and beyond that there are both European and US tours in the pipeline. Watch this space.
