You can't stop punk! - the Down & Outs wear their influences and roots on their sleeves. Growing up on the banks of the Mersey and on a diet of UK street punk and Oi the Down & Outs broke out of Liverpool in 2004 with a melodic street punk/pop punk sound that quickly got them noticed and got the yoof singing along. 'Boys From The Blackstuff' was released in Summer 2004 and was self recorded and produced by guitarist Mark Magill in a cottage in the Lake District. The 14 track record is packed full of instant classics. A tour with fellow scouse bands SSS and Walk The Plank was a huge success and was followed by the bands biggest tour to date with Anti-Flag

Late 2005 brought the 'Forever Punk' 7" which was followed by the 'Minneapolis' 7" on Rat Patrol. The split with Death Is Not Glamorous has already sold out and the long awaited 2nd LP is currently being recorded and should be out for Ninjafest in October
