Self Destruct

Self Destruct play fast, straight up, punk music. No mosh parts, no sing-along parts, no fuss. The four piece practised long and hard over the winter of '05 on a set of fast, hard hitting songs that resulted in the recording of the 'Lost Boys demo E.P.' in early '06. They were fortunate enough to play their first show with Dead Stop and after that they started to play out of town with other highly inspirational bands such as Restless Youth and Annihilation Time before ending '06 with a successful tour playing along side Fucked Up on most of their U.K. dates.

Taking their influences from all types of 70's and 80's punk and hardcore bands ranging from Negative Approach and Government Issue to The Clash and The Damned you get an idea of what they are aiming for : music pissed off with society, their governments, their peers and the world in general. SD appeared on the Rumour Control comp 7" and followed that with the storming 'This Is Not Your World' EP on D&G. A second 7" is planned soon and hopefully more shows!
